Family-owned Clowes Developments and contractor Roe Developments have completed 47 luxury one and two-bedroom apartments in the Derbyshire Peak District. The Riber View apartments were designed by Peak Architects and have transformed a run-down site close to Matlock town centre backing on the Matlock Town FC ground.
Sally Botham Estates has been handling off plan enquiries for the apartments in Causeway Lane, since construction began in 2022, and the first few residents have now moved in.
A management company has also been appointed to service the building and the landscaped grounds, and Clowes has installed solar panels on the roof to provide sustainable energy for the common areas of the buildings.
Clowes Developments has also brought the ground floor commercial element of the development to the market with a 3,000 sq ft of space available to rent – with the potential to be split in half.
Clowes director Marc Freeman said: “We are incredibly proud of the quality and design principles we have applied to Riber View Apartments.
“This is truly a unique residential development at the heart of the iconic Derbyshire town of Matlock.
“I would like to personally thank Mark Weston, the project manager at Roe Developments, Peak Architects, our legal team at Gateley’s and especially our in-house team at Clowes for delivering this scheme to such a high standard.
“We would also like to take the time to thank Matlock Town FC for their support and patience during construction.”
