Close Brothers Asset Management opens Chester office as firm's ambitious growth continues

New office adds to existing sites in Manchester and Northwich

A wealth management firm has opened its third North West office to add to its existing sites in Manchester and Northwich.

Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM) has announced further growth plans with the opening of a new office in Chester, representing a further expansion of the businesses’ high net worth proposition.

CBAM said the new location at Halladale House in Chester Business Park will be home to investment managers, financial planners and their client support teams, offering space for team expansion and excellent client facilities.

CBAM’s two recently-appointed managing directors, Helen Gerrard and Nick Jackson, will be based at the new office, and will be joined by new hire Ed Brown, assistant investment manager.

Following a recent succession of senior hires across both investment management and business development, CBAM said the addition of the Chester office will continue to expand on the company’s ambition to strengthen and enhance its services to high net worth individuals in the region.

Martin Andrew, chief executive, said: “As CBAM’s high net worth offering continues to go from strength to strength, we’re excited to bolster the proposition in the North West with our new Chester office.

"The expansion will ensure that our clients in the region continue to receive a high quality service, as well as provide us with another platform from which to grow our business.
