A cladding manufacturer is set to create up to 40 new jobs after relocating to a new industrial warehouse in Birmingham.

Finish Facades is now based in a 24,300 sq ft unit on the BSA Business Park, off Armoury Road in Small Heath, after securing the space on a ten-year lease.

The move has been prompted by a bid to secure huge recladding contracts on blocks of flats across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ, triggered by new building regulations following the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy.

Director Terry Turner said the future growth plan included investing £1 million into new equipment to help the company manufacture higher quality cladding.

He added that he expected the company's current workforce of 20 staff to increase to up to 60 people over the next four to five years as a result of the move to the larger premises.

Mr Turner said: "We'd been looking for the right property for four or five months but without much success until we came across this unit on BSA Business Park."

Jewellery Quarter-based commercial property agency Siddall Jones worked with the firm to secure the new premises.
