A Somerset-based chartered accountancy and tax consultancy firm has moved into new offices in Yeovil. Albert Goodman has re-located from Hendford Manor to premises on Lupin Way - a 4,820 sq ft commercial space.
The 40-strong team moving to the new site includes partner Lyndsay Blackshaw, who leads the Yeovil office, and partner Richard Bugler. Ms Blackshaw said the investment in new premises represented the company's "long-term commitment" to the town.
“The business sector in and around Yeovil is really thriving and we are excited at the prospect of being at the heart of a vibrant commercial community, supporting company growth and continuing to provide expert business guidance to our new and existing clients," she said.
Albert Goodman, which is headquartered in Taunton, added that the new, larger offices would allow for the company's expansion, while helping to attract "talented apprentices".
After opening a new workspace in Bristol city centre last year, Albert Goodman secured B-Corp status.
Iain McVicar, managing partner of Albert Goodman, added: “Thanks to the leadership of Lyndsay and Richard, their talented Yeovil team has gone from strength to strength and the new office will help maintain the momentum they’ve generated.
