CBRE completes Temple Row move

Property agency signs new 15-year deal after moving from Cornwall Street

CBRE's new office at 55 Temple Row in Birmingham city centre

Property consultancy has completed its move across the Business District to a new home at 55 Temple Row.

The agency has taken 13,500 sq ft on the ground and first floors of Hermes Real Estate's locally listed building.

It has signed a 15-year lease at a rent of £22 per sq ft and has moved from Cornwall Street.

Hermes Real Estate has invested £1 million in upgrading the premises and CBRE's building consultancy team project managed the makeover.

The building, which fronts on St Philip's Cathedral Square, was originally occupied by the Bank of England and latterly has been home to the Bank of Scotland and

It was designed by Fitzroy Robinson & Partners and was built between 1969 and 1972.

Ashley Hancox, senior director in CBRE's office agency team, said: "It's great to have our own front door in this much sought after location in the central business district.

"The new office provides CBRE employees and clients with modern office space and facilities and supports our plans for growth.
