Bristol's first build-to-rent development has been launched in the city.

The purpose-built accommodation at Finzels Reach includes 194 apartments across two buildings - Hawkins Lane and George’s Wharf.

Rental home provider Grainger owns the properties, which were built by developers Cubex.

Hawkins & George includes furnished and unfurnished studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

Rent includes access to an on-site gym, super-fast wifi, a residents’ lounge, roof terrace with views over Bristol, bike storage and co-working space. The flats are also pet-friendly.

Grainger will manage Hawkins & George directly, providing residents with services including a concierge and a dedicated on-site management team.

Helen Gordon, Grainger chief executive, said: “We’re delighted to launch Hawkins & George in Bristol – the first development of its kind in the city.

“Our aim at Grainger is to redefine the rental experience, and in Bristol we will do this by creating an exciting new community at Finzels Reach that combines the flexibility of renting with professional services to give our residents the best rental experience possible.
