Bristol law firm Lysander has relocated to Aztec West Business Park in a move expected to be among the area’s "largest out-of-town lettings this year".

The practice, previously based in Lysander House by the nearby mall at Cribbs Causeway, has agreed to sublet part of the first floor of 740 Aztec West for three years.

Lysander Law will occupy 19,300 sq ft of space at the building, which also houses telecoms giant Nokia and payroll software services firm Zellis.

Managing Director Rhiannon Cambrook-Woods said: “Lysander Law is delighted to have moved to 740 Aztec West, which is already proving to be a success.

“Our new office will allow us to fulfil our ambitious growth plans in providing a professional, spacious working environment which in turn will attract talented lawyers looking for a polished work space perfectly situated on the M5/M4 corridor.”

The deal, handled by property management firm Colliers, follows the recent arrival of Norwegian weather analytics firm StormGeo and Dutch group Yonder, a global operator and developer of offices, to the 68-hectare site in Almondsbury, which is home to more than 120 companies.

James Preece, director in the national offices team at Colliers Bristol, added: “I am very pleased we have secured the sublease of the Aztec’s first-floor open-plan office. The office area has been fitted out to a high standard offering attractive finishes to all areas such as the reception, meeting rooms and integrated kitchen.

“With all these upgrades, the new occupiers, Lysander Law, will benefit from an excellent work environment. This is likely to be one of the largest out-of-town lettings this year.”
