A US telecoms giant is to open a new advanced fulfilment centre and two call centres in a North West town as part of a major £50m investment.
Brightstar, a global provider of integrated solutions for mobile and financial services, said it is to create a new "state of the art" operation in Crewe, Cheshire - securing the town as the 海角视频 and European hub, home to 700 employees.
That will involve opening an advanced fulfilment centre equipped with AI automation and "cutting-edge" systems, and become the hub for all device processing operations. Brightstar said the investment would provide a platform for growth and "industry-leading" service levels for the next decade.
The company will also open two new dedicated call centres providing advanced support to its growing customer base.
The firm’s customers include some of the largest brands in the mobile industry including network operators, mobile virtual network operators, large retailers and smartphone manufacturers, as well as clients in the financial services sector.

The announcement comes shortly after the firm acquired a majority stake in WeFix, a smartphone and tablet repairer - "redefining customer service for repair customers".
