A new residential development next to one of the region's most famous sporting venues has opened.
'Corkfield' is a new apartment block on land next to Edgbaston cricket stadium in Birmingham.
It contains 375 units, of one to three bedrooms, to rent only and parking for 228 bicycles and 340 cars, including 40 EV charging points.
Other facilities include 30,000 sq ft of social space, an eighth-floor roof terrace overlooking the stadium, a large outdoor TV screen and entertainment room and a 20,860 sq ft landscaped courtyard.

There is also a fitness studio, co-working space and boardroom, private dining area to hire, free WiFi and pooch pods for dogs. The complex will be managed by an on-site team of eight staff operating a 24/7 concierge service.
Corkfield is owned and was developed by German property investor Patrizia which also owns and manages The Forum apartment block in Pershore Street near Bullring.
It will be operated by London-based Native Residential which was selected after a competitive tender process.
Patrizia's asset manager Olivia Seaton said: "Edgbaston is Birmingham's most sought-after address, combining easy access to the city centre with a leafy setting.
"As well as the stadium right on our doorstep, the Midlands Arts Centre and Cannon Hill Park are across the road. Take-up of the apartments has been brisk.
"More than 800 people are expected to live at Corkfield and we look forward to building a vibrant new community here."
