A prominent Victorian property in the heart of Birmingham's business district and home to a popular pub has been sold.
The four-storey block at 106-110 Edmund Street has been acquired by a private investor from seller Rochda.
It houses The Florence, previously known as Edmunds Bar & Brewhouse, which occupies the ground and basement levels and there are 17 apartments above.
Pub company Greene King has a 50-year lease on the site which expires in 2046 while the apartments have been sold on a long leasehold at a peppercorn ground rent.

The property, at the corner with Newhall Street, dates back to 1895.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed however the property was originally due to be sold at auction in mid-September with a guide price of £995,000.
Birmingham-based WTS Property Consultants acted on behalf of the purchaser in the deal.
Director Jack Sinclair said: "I am pleased to have been able to secure this property on behalf of our client ahead of the auction. This is a prime public house investment (which) fits perfectly into our client's estate."
