Profits continued to be healthy at £38.8 million, slightly down on £41.3 million the previous year.

London & Cambridge, established in 1987, is one of the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ’s largest private owners of retail and industrial property.

The company owns industrial, office and retail properties from Durham and St Helens in the north to Aldershot, Sidcup and Maidstone in the south, plus a considerable amount of property in and around the Black Country.

The company – 40 per cent owned by Caspar MacDonald Hall – has significant retail holdings in the town centres of Wolverhampton, Dudley, Aldridge and Walsall and industrial interests in Pensnett, Burntwood and Bloxwich.

In all London & Cambridge Properties runs a huge portfolio of more than 15 million sq ft. It has more than 270 sites and 2,300 tenants.

Major schemes include a £1.25 million 9,500 sq ft store for Home Bargains in the Churchill Shopping Centre, Dudley, a £3.2 million project on the Burntwood Business Park in Staffordshire and a £1 million Lidl store in Aldershot, as well as office lettings in Kingswinford, Sidcup and Maidstone.

The company also owns industrial and warehouse space in Reading, Liverpool, Derby, Bristol and Milton Keynes, and its major leisure site is the Arcadian Centre in Birmingham city centre.
