Plans for another hotel at which would create around 100 jobs are set to be approved by planning chiefs this week.
The development would constructed on vacant land at the main entrance to the airport, in Concorde Road.
The land, which is also next to the airport's main administrative hub in Diamond House, was previously used as a taxi car park.

At this stage, no future operator of the hotel has been identified but whichever company takes over its running will be in competition with incumbents Etap, Ibis, Novotel and Travelodge.
Warwick-based Hitchman Stone Architects has designed the project on behalf of applicant Castlebridge Hotels.
The project is due to be approved by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council's planning committee when it meets on Wednesday after being recommended for the green light by officers.
A report prepared ahead of the meeting said: "The proposal would clearly support the airport function and have no impact on its operations.
"The hotel would have significant economic benefits, introducing a high-quality hotel that would provide complementary facilities for passengers using the airport, which in turn would maximise the economic benefits for the area.
