Agency marketing Black Country office block takes final space

Bulleys has agreed a deal for offices at the building owned by Goold Estates

Black Country House in Oldbury

An office block in Oldbury is fully let after the site's latest deal. The last remaining space in Black Country House has been taken by the property agency responsible for marketing the building.

Bulleys has moved its Oldbury office to the block, having taken a lease assignment from the previous tenant Sage Building Envelope Contractors.

The lettings follow two recent lease renewals with long-term tenants The Shaw Trust, a charity which helps people with complex needs, and accountancy firm Crowe º£½ÇÊÓƵ.

Black Country House, in Rounds Green Road, was originally the headquarters of Accles & Pollock, famous for the world's first all-metal aircraft the Mayfly.

Landlord Goold Estates acquired the 36,252 sq ft property in 2008 and invested £2 million in its transformation.

Property director Anthony Williams said: "Despite Covid restrictions and subsequent changes in working patterns, we have found the office market to be buoyant, having renewed or re-let almost 30,000 sq ft at Black Country House over the last two years.

"We are now fully let and are delighted to have retained long-term tenants as well as attracting new tenants to the building."
