Chartered accountancy firm Mitten Clarke has expanded its reach with the opening of a second office.

The Stoke-on-Trent firm has set-up a base in Spinningfields, Manchester, as part of its efforts to support it growing portfolio of clients in the North West region.

The news is the latest expansion for Mitten Clarke following the acquisition of the neighbouring Moore Stephens team, also based at Festival Park, in September 2018.

The new office will be headed up by Lindsey Shepherd who has been brought into the business as client services director for the Manchester office.

Lindsey has 15 years experience of working with clients in the North West providing accounting, advisory and audit services to owner-managed businesses.

Operations director James Beardmore said: “We’re constantly looking to innovate and expand our offer and this has led to a growth of clients across the North West.

“Lindsey joined Mitten Clarke recently and is an ideal fit to grow our presence in Manchester. She’s an experienced operator heading up advisory and audit services to companies across the North West.
