The 13 Welsh pubs sold in Admiral Taverns deal with Star Pubs & Bars

Admiral has taken on a total of 150 pubs across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ in the major acquisition

Wetherspoons pubs to ban dogs

Admiral Taverns has expanded its pub portfolio with the acquisition of 150 venues - including 13 in Wales.

The sites have been bought from Star Pubs & Bars and brings Admiral's estate up 950.

They said the would invest in the new sites.

This deal was supported by investors Proprium Capital Partners and C&C Group.

The takeover comes shortly after appointing Chris Jowsey as chief executive and relocating to a new headquarters in Chester.

The Llanfair Arms in Llanfairfechan was among the pubs sold in the deal
