£1.2m facelift for Black Country office block

Developers are renovating 30,000 sq ft of space at complex in Halesowen

Trinity Point in Halesowen

A Black Country office complex is undergoing a £1.2 million renovation.

Birmingham-based developers Key Land Capital and Urban Village Capital are jointly working on the project at Trinity Point, in Halesowen, to renovate around 30,000 sq ft of office space.

Work also includes upgraded toilets and communal areas, a new roof and a replacement lift.

Citibase has agreed to lease 10,000 sq ft to create a flexible office hub aimed at attracting entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs seeking flexible accommodation.

Contractor Homebrook has been recruited to carry out the 12-week project.

Kevin Sharkey, chief executive officer at Key Land Capital, said: "It's exciting to see work start on transforming Trinity Point with a comprehensive programme of refurbishment.

"The existing office space is being stripped out and brought up to modern standards with new mechanical and electrical systems, LED lighting, complete redecoration, new carpets and upgraded toilets.
