The keys for a new 海角视频 Government hub building that will be home to 4,000 civil servants in the centre of Cardiff will be handed over to Welsh Secretary Simon Hart today.
The聽 拢100m and 270,000聽 sq ft T欧 William Morgan (William House) building is the latest office development at the Central Square development from Rightacres.
The 12-storey building, whose main occupier will be HMRC when it relocates its tax offices from the Llanishen area of Cardiff later this year, is now being fitted out by ISG. Construction was carried out by Sir Robert McAlpine
T欧 William Morgan will also serve as the Cardiff offices for the Wales Office, currently located in Cardiff Bay. It will also provide space for other non-devolved civil service operations and be able to hold 海角视频 Government cabinet meetings.
The building was designed by architectural firm Gensler.

Mr Hart said: "The Cardiff building is one of 16 海角视频 Government hubs currently being created across the 海角视频鈥檚 nations and regions. It forms part of the 海角视频 Government鈥檚 commitment to the union by building the capacity of the civil service across the whole of the United Kingdom and levelling up resources."
HMRC聽director general for customer compliance in聽HMRC, Penny Ciniewicz said: "This is a significant milestone for聽HMRC, which will bring together more than 3,600 colleagues into Central Square.
"The department has a large and long-established presence in Wales and the new regional centre in Cardiff demonstrates our commitment to Wales and its economy.
鈥淭his modern building will bring teams together, so they have the opportunity to work differently and more effectively.鈥
The project, as with other schemes at Central Square, was forward funded by L&G funds.
The keys to the building will be handed over to Mr Hart by chief executive of Rightacres Property Paul McCarthy.
Mr McCarthy said: "From the brilliant strategic creativity of the masterplan to the laying of each individual paving slab, the delivery of this iconic development on time and on budget is testament to all involved."
T欧 William Morgan is in recognition of聽 Bishop William Morgan鈥檚 role in maintaining the strength of the Welsh language through his 1588 translation of the bible into Welsh in 1588.
