Liz Truss

Liz Truss became Prime Minister in September 2022, succeeding Boris Johnson in the middle of the cost of living crisis. She stood down in October 2022. Ms Truss, who grew up in Leeds, previously served as Foreign Secretary and has also served as Chief Secretary to the Treasury and Environment Secretary
